Some things get into your blood early.

For me, it was engines. I grew up five minutes from the TVR factory in Blackpool — close enough that the sound of a straight-six at full chat wasn't a special occasion, it was a Tuesday. The smell of motor oil, the bark of something overengineered and barely tamed. That was just the air I breathed.

I didn't choose this world. It chose me.

Years passed. A career in design, then management. Life moved fast in the way it does — meetings, decisions, deadlines. But every weekend, every trackday, every late evening in the garage with a spanner in one hand and absolutely no plan to stop — that version of me never clocked off.

And somewhere between a third cup of tea and a conversation over a bonnet that went on far longer than anyone planned, a question surfaced that I couldn't shake:

Why is there no tea brand that gets us?

Not the lifestyle brands. Not the heritage tins with nothing behind them. Something real — built for the people who live this, not just admire it from a distance. For the drivers and the riders, the tinkerers and the obsessives. The ones who know that the best conversations happen in garages, on forecourts, and at the side of a track with something warm in hand.

So I built it. With a little help from Riley — my ever-loyal co-pilot, who has never once questioned the hours, only ever the biscuit selection.

Motor Brew Co. isn't a tea brand that happens to like cars. It's everything I wished existed — built for the drivers, the riders, the ones who are still in the garage at midnight wondering where the evening went.
